Scammer will probably get a temp ban unless they have done it like 1,000 times in which case they may perma the account.

From the RoC:

If you're at the stage where an actual GM is writing to you, they will likely inform you if the account in question has been suspended or not.

Someone recently posted here about reporting someone who scammed them. They (apparently) got an official response back stating the scammer in question was punished with a suspension. Repeat offenses by scammer might result in a permaban.

Quote: Unfortunately, we cannot give you any compensation following what happened.

Furthermore, and as previously explained I am afraid you will not hear of any rulings related to the incident or the account(s) involved.

Thank you for your understanding.

It isn't necessary to inform you of their punishment. Don't expect one.
